Here at Riverside Magnet School at Goodwin College (Formerly Goodwin College Early Childhood Magnet School) we understand how important family and the community are to a child’s development. Our magnet school will work hard to create an environment where families feel supported and valued on a daily basis as we work together to help their child be successful. Throughout the year there will be a variety of different activities and events that encourage family participation such as family nights, community events, and parent workshops to name a few!
Riverside Magnet School at Goodwin College (Formerly Goodwin College Early Childhood Magnet School) offers an after school Studio program, available for a monthly fee that supports working parents who need childcare. The Studio program provides children with the opportunity to interact with their peers, build social skills, explore nature, engage in gross motor activities, as well as extending what the children are learning in the classroom. Studio also follows the Reggio Approach which allows for a smooth transition from the school day into Studio.
We encourage Family and Community involvement at RMSGC (Formerly GCECMS), please let us know if you would like to volunteer either in the classroom or during Studio hours, we would love for you to be a part of our school community.
As we continue our journey in establishing our program, we are excited to have families join in our efforts to develop our community at Riverside Magnet School (Formerly Goodwin College Early Childhood Magnet School).
